What do we do in choir?
"On a daily basis, we utilize 23 parts of our brain while simultaneously creating 4-part harmonic passages of resonant sound and incorporate elements of counterpoint and fuges to be performed a cappella." |
In short, we make music.
In choir, we spend the whole school year learning about music, about music history, we learn to be better music readers and performers. We work together to create and to impress and we have fun doing it. While doing all of that, we learn to be better students and citizens. In O'Neill, we are privileged to have many talented, driven, respectful, hard-working, music-loving young people. We have two primary vocal music ensembles at the public school, the Junior High Choir and the High School Chamber Choir.

BIG EVENTS! --------- |
The Young Americans workshop was once again the most amazing event of the year! Students grades 3-12 from O'Neill and all surrounding communities participated in this workshop and performed an energetic, mind-blowing performance on Tuesday night. Until next time, Young Americans, we love you!
